Bernt Stellander, norueguês, nasceu em 1967 em Graz, Áustria. O pai norueguês, estudou medicina em Graz e aí conheceu a mãe de Bernt, de nacionalidade austríaca.
Bernt cresceu em Tromsø, na terra do sol da meia-noite e da aurora boreal. Passou um ano do ensino médio no Missouri, EUA, como estudante de intercâmbio.
Bernt tem experiência como Polícia Militar no Exército Norueguês e nas forças da ONU no Líbano.
Teve também uma breve experiência como jogador de futebol semi-profissional, mas ficou gravemente lesionado durante uma partida quanto era estudante.
Fez formação em optometria em Kongsberg, negócios e economia no NHH em Bergen.
Como inventor na área do golfe patenteou várias tecnologias de alinhamento de tacos, designs e outros produtos de golfe.
É o fundador da Profound Golf.
As tecnologias de alinhamento de tacos de golfe, criadas por Bernt, mais tarde, evoluíram para um amplo conjunto de aplicações de alinhamento, a que deu o nome de “TrollEye positioning systems” (sistemas de posicionamento TrollEye)
Bernt mudou-se para o Algarve em 2016 porque o clima mais quente é melhor para a sua lesão permanente.

Bernt Stellander, a Norwegian born in 1967 in Graz, Austria. His Norwegian father studied medicine in Graz, and met Bernt’s Austrian mother at the University in Graz.
Bernt grew up in Tromsø, in the land of the midnight sun and the northern lights. He spent a high school year in Missouri, USA as a foreign exchange student.
Bernt has experience as Military Police in the Norwegian Army and in the UN forces in Lebanon.
Bernt used to play semi professional football/soccer, but was severely injured in a match while being a student.
He is educated in Optometry in Kongsberg and business and economy at NHH in Bergen.
He turned inventor by getting into the game of golf, and patented several putter alignment technologies, designs and other golf products.
He is the Founder of Profound Golf.
His golf putter alignment technologies later evolved into a more broader specter of alignment applications, called TrollEye positioning systems.
Bernt moved to the Algarve in 2016 because the warmer climate is better for his permanent injury.
